Absence Policy:  It is highly recommended that you do not miss any days during the time period of the program, a total number of forty (40) days.  However, serious and/or extenuating circumstances are understandable.

The school will allow up to 5 missed days without penalty.

Any missed exams or days must be made up before proceeding with program progression.

The following rules will apply concerning absences more than 5 days:

Minor circumstances:

If 5 business days of the course is missed, whether those days are consecutive or separate, a student could be dismissed from the program at the school’s discretion and refunds will follow as this:

Before the refund deadline is reached, a pro rata refund will result but will not include refunding of the missed days in which you did not cancel or terminate in writing of actual cancellation date.

After the refund deadline is reached, no refunds will result. (after 30 days completion)

There is a one-time forgiveness policy at the school’s discretion for those who are terminated concerning the policy for minor circumstances absences if the student wants to re-enroll in the program at a later date providing he/she registers, enrolls and pays all required fees.

Major circumstances:

If at any time you have to miss more than 5 days or even cancel the program due to extenuating circumstances.

Cancellation of the program before the deadline refund is reached, a pro rata refund will result up to the date of actual cancellation.

Postponement of the program will result in student being able to return within 30 days to complete the program, continuing where student left off.

Student will have 30 days in which to decide if he/she will return to program.  If student decides not to return, then a pro rata refund will result in which actual date of postponement resulted and program will be considered to be terminated (if postponement resulted before the refund deadline).  Student must cancel in person or by certified mail within 30 days of the actual postponement date.
